With the exciting news of being an aunt for the first time, I just had to start making things for the little one! Among other things, I decided to make some burp cloths. I found a cute flannel fat quarter at Joann’s and cut each piece in half which was 10×18. I heard that most moms like the terry cloth fabric compared to flannel on one side so they can wipe things up better. I got 2 yards of terry cloth at Joann’s and cut it matching the size of the flannel pieces.
I sewed them right sides together with a 1/4 inch seam, And trimmed it down a bit afterwards. I left about an inch opening and flipped them right side out.
I finished them off with a simple zig zag stitch sewed around the edges. And that’s it! Super easy.
